The owner showed me the bathroom first as it was not attached to my room and the toilet was not flushed because apparently I had to share a bathroom with her grandchildren. Overall, I found the atmosphere unwelcoming and uncomfortable. I have stayed at 3 other bed and breakfasts and this one by far was my least favorite.

The room was comfortable with the touches of old wood and lace that you would expect from times past. We were received with a warm welcome and given "above the call" service when we had car trouble.
