This lodge was cheap clean and really nice for the price. Pretty good privacy. I would definately recommend this to a friend. The staff are very polite, willing to go out of their to help you. The only thing bad that I found at all was the fact there were no pens. And the shower head was the worst one... More

I stayed in cabin #25 (the one in the photograph) and was pleased to find it as current and updated as it was. Many times with cabins, you don't know what you're getting into until you're there, and often without much opportunity for change if desired. In my case, I was driving South into Buffalo during a winter storm. That... More

The Z-Bar seems like it's from another era, much like Buffalo itself, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. The cabins are basic but clean with minimal but adequate amenities. You are a short walk from the lovely little downtown, which has somehow survived while so many small towns have been hollowed out by big boxes and declining populations. The... More

We had a room with a kitchen and enjoyed cooking our meal. Everything needed was provided even though some dishes could be renewed. The place is quiet, we slept with open windows and didn't hear any street traffic. The grounds are pleasant and well kept. The person at the reception wasn't very friendly and didn't make you feel welcome.

We stayed here in October 2012... EXCELLENT, CLEAN, FRIENDLY place. We ABSOLUTELY LOVED it. There was a safe play area for kids, a grocery store just down the road...you just feel so at home here, can't wait to go back. Will definitely stay here again!! A++

My husband & I visit Buffalo, Wyoming every year and always stay at the Z-Bar Motel. Located at the base of the Bighorn Mountains, walking distance to downtown and conveniently located to numerous historical sites and the great Western outdoors. The individual cabins give privacy and many have been very tastefully renovated. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful.... More

We stayed in this place after about three nights on the road, and we enjoyed it immensely. It was pretty basic accommodations, but they do accept pets and we had an overly positive experience. We were able to order pizza and have it delivered to the front door. The overall cabin had a homespun feel and we slept well. It... More

I've spent a night in this motel and after reading all the reviews I had very high expectations. This motel is just fine and actually I don't understand all this enthuasiasm... The garden is very night, the cabin was ok (maybe I've been in one of the older cabins and there're others newer and better), normally clean, a bit darker.... More

We arrived late at night, after the office was closed, but they left our key taped to the office door for us. We were able to call the main number to get the internet password, they were very nice to us. We stayed two nights. Everything was very clean and looked freshly remodeled. We will stay again next time we... More
