My wife and three kids (5, 9, and 11) really enjoyed our stay at cross sabres ranch. We traveled in July 2011 and spent a few days there as our base of operations for daily trips into Yellowstone park. This place was truly amazing. Nestled into the hills near Cody, Wyoming it was very quiet, listening to the creek as... More

My husband and two girls (6 and 8 years) all thought our stay at Crossed Sabres was by far the highlight of our 2-week trip to Wyoming. We only wish we had planned more than two days there. The cabin was cozy and clean, and you can't beat the sound of the running stream off the back bedroom! All the... More

Our family was at Crossed Sabres Ranch for 4 nights 8/2012. The staff were wonderful! Breakfasts was very good every morning. The ranch manager, Bounty, was more than helpful with anything we needed. Don't come here expecting the Ritz Carlton, but if you are looking for tranquility, clean sheets and towels and quaint accomodations this place is absolutely wonderful! Couldn't... More

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay while we were touring Yellowstone. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We felt right at home! Even when we arrived late for check-in, they made sure we knew where our cabin was and provided us with supper and entertainment. The cabins were cute and rustic, just what we were looking for!... We arrived very late at night and much to our pleasant surprise there was a note left on the door to the office welcoming us. It let us know where our cabin was and to get settled for the evening... not to worry about anything until the morning and letting us know what time breakfast was served. Our cabin was... More

The cabins are creaky but cute, the setting is rugged but great atmosphere, the fellow "campers" were charming. The kind of place you hang out on the little front porch and talk to your neighbor about the day or join everyone at the cowboy cookout for some music and fun. It was the food service that I will warn you... More

Crossed Sabres Guest Ranch is filled with delightful real people. They are polite and competent, and If you put yourself out there just a little bit they quickly become your friend. The price is very reasonable, especially considering the area of the country - between Yellowstone and Cody, WY. The cabin price includes a buffet breakfast, and you can ask... More

Crossed Sabres is in a beautiful location and the staff was very friendly.(especially to our children.) Our cabin was perfect for a family of five, although I would have put a queen size bed in the smaller room, instead of a couch. However, it was apparent that there was a lack of management/ownership oversight. The staff while very friendly, was... More

This was a typical log cabin bedroom with separate bath & toilet. Remember you are out in the woods and sometimes you might have some uninvited guests. Hey, it's better than sleeping in a tent on the ground. Crossed Sabres is 8 miles east of Yellowstone Park East Side. You had easy access to Yellowstone and Cody, Wy. another city... More
