We checked in here today after a long 7 hour drive from Custer, SD with 4 adults and 3 month old. On our drive into town (in the last 5 miles) a pheasant struck my windshield at high-speed, so i arrived at the hotel stressed and worried about the situation with the hire car. The car was un-driveable and we... More

Arrived in Cody without hotel reservations, several people suggested The Cody. We were impressed from the moment we walked through the door. Nice clean property, beautifully decorated, great staff. Especially enjoyed the clean room, COMFORTABLE BED. We were on the "back" side of the building, and had no problem. Realize that not all rooms face the front and we weren't... More

The Cody is a very nice and welcoming hotel. The lobby is furnished with comfy couches and chairs in an appealing southwest motif. The rooms are nice and well-appointed. They have a small but adequate gym. The only criticism I have is the continental breakfast leaves much to be desired. Request a "mountain view" with a balcony. Hotel is located... More

The Cody is a beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms well thought out for the comfort of travelers. They are spacious, the towels are soft, the bathroom has plenty of counter space, there are hooks on the walls, lots of wastebaskets - all the things you usually don't find. The people are friendly and helpful, the grounds are lovely, the breakfast... More

The Cody is the premiere place to stay when you travel to this region of Wyoming. If you're there to see Yellowstone, or the Wind Rivers, or the Bighorns, you'll not find a better place around. The quality of service was hands down the best I've ever come across. The rooms are cozy and clean, with soft towels and bedding... More

For starters, they let us check in early because my husband was ill. They upgraded us to a suite since none of the regular rooms were ready. They could have just said "sorry come back at 3pm." The rooms are very luxurious! At 8:30 in the morning I saw an employee go from car to car in the parking lot... More

A very nice property. Large and comfortable room. Check-in and out were very smooth. Breakfast was just fine. The rate was excellent, the location was very good. Basically a very good experience. From the outside there looked to be several good choices in Cody, but I am very glad that I stayed here.
