We were surprised at the lodge atmosphere of the Americinn in Cody when we arrived. A huge elk statue out front, which our grandson insisted we take his picture in front of it. If you were not fortunate to see enough animals in Yellowstone, you may want to stay at this hotel. If you have small children, be prepared to try and avoid the lobby and their desire to touch all of the stuffed animals that populate this area. Awesome! Reminded me of Cabella's. Gorgeous elk statue out front. Room was awesome. Clean. Quiet. Great location. Great value. Decent breakfast. Good family or individual rest place. Towels and sheets were beyond great. Would recommend to everyone.

We have stayed in other places while we visit Cody Wyoming, but this was our first time staying at the AmericInn. Room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. We liked the fact that there were two sinks, one outside the bathroom. Clean, nice beds, and great breakfast. We even used the pool and hot tub, which was clean and perfect for my 4 year old. Nicely decorated and clean.

I only stayed for one night, but I spent quite a bit of time admiring all the mounts in the lobby area. There were quite a few rare mounts I haven't seen before and the atmosphere was quite interesting. The front desk staff was really friendly and the breakfast was fine. The facility was clean.

Looked for places to stay in Cody thru tripadvisor and came up with Americinn. For off season prices could have been a little better but all in all a good value. We never heard of Americinn - our friends made the reservation and we were a little bit nervous. It turned out to be a very nice property - great room - clean and spacious and quiet.
