Stayed here touring around Yellowstone added a night it was so enjoyable we will be back will recomend to our car club
When my husband and I travel we prefer to stay at the smaller pivately owned Mom and Pop motels. We find that there is pride in ownership. Big Bear was a great example of this. The owners were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, quite a good size and very clean. We both enjoyed our night here very much.
Stayed here for 1 night and we were perfectly happy. It’s not fancy but it is reasonably priced, clean and more than adequate. We found the owner to be very friendly and overall we would be happy to recommend it.
While in Cody I would recommend going to the Rodeo if its on, tickets are easy to buy and its...

My wife and I stayed here in Sep. of 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed the accomodations. It is conveniently located adjacent to Trail Town also, which is well worth seing if you are at all interested in old West history.
We visited in the Autumn. We called ahead for a king sized bed room with refrig and microwave. Facility seemed to have lost that request and we ended up in a huge Queen bed room with no amenities. The TV was almost mounted on the ceiling, no refrig, microwave, dressers, closets, etc. Place was clean enough. Most rooms were filled...

En route from Yellowstone to the Bighorn Mountains in Sept we stayed one night at Big Bear. Our host was charming and friendly and put us on the top deck of the new build block, completed four months. The room had a cabin feel, but was spacious with TV microwave and fridge, but ladies, be aware, no hairdryer. The bed...

Bill and Jodie (owners) were very accomadating and helpful. I like when you don't feel weird when having to ask questions or favors. They made us feel welcome and appreciated our stay. The rooms were very comfortable if you don't like all the "extra" stuff. There are no microwaves, hairdryers, refridgerators or anything like that, but we like it that...

After camping in Yellowstone for a few days this was a good stop to do some laundry and unwind by the pool. Big clean rooms, lovely pool and large wooden chairs to sit outside and relax in. Good price for the time of year also.
I wish we'd still had little kids to enjoy the big bear out front and the playground on the premises. The owners of this motel really make guests feel welcome. They accept pets and the rooms are clean with microwaves and fridges in some of them. They also have wifi available to those who wish to use it. This is...

We were pleasantly surprised to have booked this lodge, sight unseen, up the road from downtown Cody (and the Buffalo Bill museum) and at the top of the Shoshone River ravine. Great feel, rooms like new, friendly bikers, families, and llamas (really!). I don't understand any negative reviews; the owners were friendly and helpful and the rate just right. Fortune...
