Our time spent at Jakey's Fork was perfect from the house to the bunkhouse. It was even better than our expectations. The welcome we received made us feel at home immediately. Modern facilities in a 19th century cabin. We had a peaceful evening and night in a cabin that must have been a challenge for the original builders. The babbling river cleared away the noise and confusion of Houston. Carolyn provided a history lesson, recommendations for dinner (Cowboy Cafe) which was excellent, and a fine breakfast. This is exactly what we were looking for: a secluded rustic cabin by a Wyoming river. We fell in love with this magical place and have booked a return reservation for next year. Our kids loved the hammock. We loved the fishing, the seclusion and the privacy. This is a total fantasy come true. It is absurdly low priced.

Serendipity brought me here and the glorious outdoor scenery and gracious hospitality kept me. I am already planning my next visit. Will take my family back next time. The accommodations range from simple indoors, to a more rustic cabin-by-the-river experience. In either case, you're looking at amazing mountains and outdoor beauty. The price was insanely reasonable in my opinion.

We have an almost 2 year old and it can be tough to travel with her, particularly to stay at a B&B. Jakey's Fork's innkeeper, Carolyn, was so accomodating and gracious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, loved the house and the grounds. I would go back again and again! And I would highly recommend to anyone that they stay here.
