The highlight of our Grand Tetons visit was the Buffalo Valley Ranch Snake River float trip. We put in at Pacific Creek launch just downstream from Oxbow Bend. It normally takes about 3 hours for the 10 mile float to Deadman's Bar, dependent on water levels and wind direction. Though the river can be swift, this is not a white... More

My husband & I along with 2 other friends stayed in Heart Six Ranch in Oct 1st week of 2010. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 days. The stay was good and there was nice view from the cabin. It was very calm and quiet and is 6 miles from Grand Teton entrance and 42 miles from... More

Stayed 1 night (thank goodness) in a cabin at Buffalo Valley Ranch. The "cabin" was a duplex cabin and we were in the middle one. The walls were paper thin and could hear EVERYTHING that was going on in the other ones. The floor in the bedroom squeaked badly which would wake you up if someone walked through to use... More

The only issue I was made aware of was the refrigerator running all night long. I checked the cabin extensively and was unable to locate any noise that would have kept the guest from sleeping. I guess they could have unpluged the refrigerator for the night if it caused them any problems. I am certain that all of our rooms... More

We had help locating places that weren't already booked up during this busiest of vacation times for Yellowstone visitors. I think we got the best deal possible, so Buffalo Valley must be a well kept secret. But we couldn't have found better accomodations, hospitality, and helpful guides. We took a float trip on the Snake River, went horseback riding up... More

My wife and I did not stay at the Buffalo Valley Ranch but we did book a full day horseback ride in the Teton Wilderness with them. Our guide was excellent and showed us some of the prettiest country we've ever seen. We hope to return in the future and tackle the four day wilderness trip.

We stayed one night (June 13th-14th), and everything was just perfect. There were 2 rooms with a Queen bed in each, a set of bunk beds, and a pull out futon in the living room which was more than enough for the 5 of us, washer n dryer, kitchenette, and it overlooked the clearing. The ranch is so quiet and... More

We stayed in a Buffalo Valley Ranch cabin for 3 nights, July 11-13, 2008. The cabin is actually a triplex of rooms. Our room had a full kitchen and a washer and dryer. There was a queen bed in the bedroom, and a double futon in the front room. There is a porch out front with a wonderful view of... More
