We stumbled upon this gem when researching our trip. The home was built in 1892 and has been lovingly preserved by several owners. The present inn keeper and her daughter are warm and informative. Let's face it, pet owners -- good digs are hard to come by when traveling with the beasties. “Perfect for Families”

The Hood House is a very clean and comfortable house in a quiet area. We rented out the whole house which was perfect for our extended family. The breakfast was beautiful and the owners are very friendly. I even managed to leave behind some clothes and a bottle which Carol posted back to me. Greatly appreciated! Highly recommended.
