The only thing that I will remember about this place is being kicked-out of the breakfast room at 8:30 with my plate 1/2 full. Dont stay there, even if it is a good value for money, the location is great..... but you dont want to support business that should be long gone.

We stayed here for 3 nights while on the Hilo side. It was fine. Nothing fancy, nothing special......but it was safe and clean. Breakfast, meh. It is just a budget place for budget minded travelers who just sleep here. I would stay again.

We stayed here one night during a driving trip around the Big Island. The price was reasonable for Hawaii but the accommodations really need updating. I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to budget traveling, but I'll never stay here again. There isn't enough parking, the birds outside the windows kept me up all night (I'm even a deep sleeper!), and the breakfast was abominable. Not worth the $.

The hotel was just a place to sleep after a day's activity. The beds were comfortable and they gave us fresh towels everyday. The continental breakfast with fruit, muffins, bread and coffee was complementary so that was a little savings. My second biggest complaint is for some reason every morning one could hear the whirring of giant washing machines. Seriously Uncle Billy's is 6am the best time to do the washing?!
