Amazing! We knew from the outstanding Trip Advisor reviews this was the place for us; but still it exceeded our expectations! The business plan and home design are brilliant, but would not be as fabulous without Kirby and Toby. They are truly gracious and entertaining hosts. The home is beautiful and inviting. Kirby is simply fabulous and marvelously funny and... More

I think all the previous reviews some up this B & B perfectly. We loved it here. Great breakfasts, great rooms, great hosts and great location for exploring the beautiful North Shore of Kauai. Only a short drive to Hanalei Bay. Loved meeting the other guests at breakfast and also having use of the kitchen to prepare dinners We stayed... More

Mahalo for your kind words...just love to have folks from Australia visit - Always fun and outgoing. We may just visit your piece of paradise one of these days...if we ever can get away from the B & B. Aloha, Kirby & Toby More

My husband and I stayed here for our 5-night stay in Kauai this past week for our honeymoon and had a blast! The home is really, really nice and has a very unique set up which they designed themselves. The house is up on 20ft pillars (really fun painted elevator available), there are a ton of beach and hiking supplies... More

My wife and I had a marvelous stay with Kirby and Toby last October. Our room in in the Papaya Suite was very comfortable and the memory of Toby's breakfasts can still bring a content smile to my face these many months later. We greatly enjoyed the sweet calm of their location outside of Hanalei, that also gave us easy... More

We appreciated Kirby and Toby's many kindnesses, the terrific home cooked breakfasts (mmm macadamia nut pancakes). It rained for 3 solid days non stop when we were there, which was a drag. But the hosts were sunny and warm (if a bit quirky). That said, I thought this place was in Hanalei - it's in Hanea - about 15 minutes... More

Thank you sooo much for your kind words. Just to let you know that our 'district' is in Hanalei-that is where our only post office is located. We are actually in Wainiha (not Haena). These are sub-districts on the Northshore. I believe our Google map indicates that we are not in the 'town' of Hanalei. We understand that it can... More

If you are planning on spending some time on the northern side of the island, this is the spot to do it. We were here for four nights and the location was nearly perfect and as described in other reviews Toby and Kirby were quite the characters. I have to completely disagree with any of the negative reviews previously posted.... More

We stayed in the guava suite, which was truly beautiful in all details. More generally, you really feel like the whole place was designed to make you feel comfortable: access to a big kitchen and all its appliances, a huge living room where you can share tips with other guests or you can prefer enjoying your private balcony. And also... More

This place is very charming, great location with delightful hosts. I read the negative tripadvisor posts, and strongly disagree. Toby was very friendly and made us great breakfasts, Kirby was very helpful with booking tours. We stayed in the pineapple room and had no problem with the round bed (my husband is 6'4"). Yes they have 4 beautiful cats, but... More

Spent two nights here recently (not nearly enough!) with our son and daughter in law. We all agreed that we would love to return. Kirby and Toby were wonderful hosts, breakfasts were great, enjoyed the company of the other guests. The house is wonderfully furnished and set up for visitors. The area is lovely, I would like to return and... More

It all works brilliantly here. Kirby and Toby are truly unique characters (Kirby does a mean hula) and they are extremely hospitable. Toby cooks a mean breakfast (Texan omelette, waffles, vary each day, with great fruit plates). There's a communal kitchen/lounge where you meet others, very well stocked. Great hot tub. Close to Tunnels beach and other snorkelling. Next to... More
