Stayed 2 nights last week and was pretty pleased with this property. Room was clean, spacious and amenities pretty modern. Loved the bamboo style fixtures in the bathroom. Free breakfast in the morning was served out by pool under umbrellas. Good french toast and other selections served by really nice waitresses. For this location so close to busy Front street... More

Relax just off the busy spending path of Front Street at the Plantation Inn. A secluded palm tree-lined home away from home, guest rooms with king-sized beds and double doors lead out to a private patio and shared refreshing pool and hot tub. A French pool-side breakfast greets you each morning that is so good (try the French toast or... More

Stayed at Plantation Inn 4 days in April 2012 with my wife. We are always looking for the small, quint places that give you a peace of mind, personal service and have a great location. If your looking for the same, look no further. All built in 1989, but the look and "feel" looks more dated - not worn down... More

We stayed in the Pana'ewa suite, #20. It faced the back alley, where there are Hawaiian homes. There is no parking fee like most hotels at Honolulu, Oahu. Check-in was pretty easy, but a little confusing. There is about a $1 per day fee for using the room safe. The pool is heated. The room had a musty smell to... More

Overall, this hotel was great: the pool area/hot tub was lovely and always pretty quiet, the room was comfortable and decorated nicely, staff was friendly, and great location. Our room was in the building on the other side of the pool (not the building with Gerard's) and the lanai looked right out to the pool. The lanai had a loveseat,... More

This turned out to be one of our all time favorites. This is a place designed for couples -not children. The service is excellent as are the accommodations. Breakfast comes with and it is more than fruit and rolls - coffee/tea, selection of juice, fruit and a selection of mains such as french toast, yogurt and granola, eggs Florentine, croque... More

We went with our kids, but my husband and I stayed here the last few nights to get away. It was a wonderful change from the resort, and a very romantic setting. The room was large, with a small empty frig, wood floors, a charming palm tree blade ceiling fan, a flat screen tv mounted to the wall and its... More

Stayed for six nights in March 2012. - staff were admittedly very friendly and helpful - AVOID rooms in the main building - these rooms are affected by both street noise and (quite serious ie 11pm daily) noise from the restaurant. Especially the (supposedly premium) room 8 / luna suite where we stayed. Negotiate a better price if you do... More

A great place for couples. Breakfast is included and you are a block from downtown. The layout is small, but comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We would stay here the next time we go to Maui.
