My flight got delayed and instead of landing in Maui at 9:30pm, I landed at 3 a.m., but the hotel staff was very accomodating and nice enough to leave me a note with instructions. Nice, and clean place. Plenty of parking. All the guests seems really nice too.

The hostel was a nice simple place to stay during my whirl wind trip of Maui. Scott and Garrett did a great job keeping the place neat and tidy. The place was very clean, there was a good kichen to cook in and a nice lounge to sit and chat with people and watch tv. They had internet and a... More

Northshore was one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in, and I, myself, am a hostel manager. It was an excellent homebase for my travels around Maui. The people I met there were great and the staff is amazing and very accommodating. They keep the place cleaner than any other hostel I've stayed in (the bathrooms especially!! :))) and... More

Very clean, quiet, relaxing, and friendly/helpful staff, I really liked this hostel. It is not a party hostel but people are particularly nice and people cook, watch a movie, eat tapas in the evening. They have free pancakes, plenty of parking, secure storage, a balcony. I have never slept so well in an hostel!

I've stayed at Northshore Maui Hostel four times in the last year and really love it there. The staff are friendly, fun and resourceful, and they always go the extra mile to make sure I am comfortable and happy while staying there. The hostel itself is very comfortable, quiet and friendly. With their free breakfast, shuttle to and from the... More

We feel we should better spend our money on activities rather than expensive hotel rooms in Maui so this is the place we end up spending 7 nights in. we leaved in two private rooms during our stay. Location is great, especially if you are planning to go all directions of the island. It is safe, with security doors and... More

This hostel was great, all we had to do was give Scott a call and he came to the airport to pick us up gratis. It's a clean hostel with a balcony, nice kitchen, internet access, and actual bathrooms, not dorm-style showers. We stayed in the semi-private room which had a fridge and a super comfy bed so that was... More
