We stayed a week at the Guesthouse and found that its location and amenities were excellent. Maureen is a welcoming host and checks in daily (sometimes with baked goodies!) to ensure that all is okay. Maureen is also a good resource for local restaurant recommendations, as well as keeping the room refreshed with tropical flowers and plenty of coffee. We... More

We stayed at Wailuku Guesthouse based on the good reviews. However, it soon became apparent that this was just an improved hostel. There were a list of rules before we signed up. Then while we were already enroute we received an e-mail (luckily we had our computer and even luckier that we had access to the internet) to say that... More

Aloha I would kindly like to respond to these recent guests. They did arrive late and had arrival emails emailed to them on 4-3 the day they made their reservation, as we do with all of our guests. Yes the keys are in a lock box that is labeled for the specific room for late arriving guests. This system has... More

Maureen was most welcoming and the room was very clean, quiet, pretty, air conditioned, and had many small touches that made us feel pampered. The only thing that could be improved is that the Mill Room was small and contained a king size bed. The two of us had to squeeze past each other in order to both move through... More

This place was clean, quiet and had AC, but the best part of staying here were all the personal touches. When we arrived, there was a big plate of fresh banana/apple/papaya/pecan bread that the owner, Maureen, had just baked for us. Maureen was a great host and showed us all the neat things that our room had to offer: a... More

My husband and I stayed at Wailuku Guesthouse! We really liked that place. It was clean, neat (nice bed, TV, travel guides) & a super nice pool! And the price was very reasonable! The location is great too! There is a very nice coffee shop 5 min away from the Guesthouse. I would definitely recommend it to my friends! Perfect... More

Unfortunately, it was right next to a high school...bells were going off, students yelling, and the whole area was too noisy for a place that is supposed to a peaceful vacation stay. Rooms were cramped, nobody ever checked to see how I was, and the owner lives in the house with a dog that likes to bark a lot. I... More

Aloha, I'm sorry you felt our rooms were tiny,, but the each have a comfortable king or queen bed. A small dresser, refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. I supply Hawaiian coffee and teas. I also bake when I have time. Most folks keep to themselves, if I see guests out by the pool area, which is our common area, I... More

I went there for 5 days, and I LOVED staying at the Wailuku guest house. The room is so clean and tidy. Maureen always gave us new clean towels. Maureen is deffinietly the hostess with the mostest! The pool in the backyard was always sooo clean and never too cold. And your only just a 5 minute drive to the... More

We have stayed here for the last 6 years and have never been dissapointed! I recommend this place to all our friends and family! We recently got married in Maui, and Maureen was a godsend with all her help, planning the minister, best beach and restaurant for the reception! Her 8 year old son was our ringbearer! The guest house is... More

Aloha folks, We enjoyed your visit again. Your grand daughter was very funny and Declan especially liked having her around. I know your trip was brief, but hoped it was everything you expected. Repeat guests like you are really part of the joy in this business. I hoped you enjoyed dinner on Thursday too. It was just something I quickly... More

I recently spoke with Maureen and she had the Plantation Room available. I asked her if she could hold it for a day because of some problem I had with my Visa. She said yes. I then asked her if she wanted to take the Visa number for security and she said no. I wrote her that evening and told... More

My wife and I stayed in the Wasabi Room, during the first two weeks of February, and had a great time. The accommodation was spacious, clean and very reasonably priced.
