First all of all Janice is a pleasant inn-keeper and the facility has character. Her husband is rarely seen and frankly seems fairly uncomfortable with people, so you can pretty much only count on Janice to reach out and be the more sociable of the two. The room was nice and general accomodations were very good. Parking was tight, but... More

Dear Burnski52 Thank you for taking the time to evaluate your experience with us. We want to apologize for not meeting your expectations. We really missed the boat in orientating you about our offerings. Our French toast is always made from a whole fresh French sandwich baguette from the Bakery in town which is soaked overnight in its batter and... More

We stayed here 5 nights moved to Hana and then came back to Old Wailuku! We loved our visit here! The room was large and very clean. The bathroom was excellent and beautifully decorated! Our breakfast was delicious and so much fun to share with other guests what we had done the day before and what we planned to do... More

We enjoyed everything about this B&B. Hosts and staff were very friendly and very informative. Janice in particular is very delightful and friendly, to the point that she really wants you to enjoy Maui. The breakfasts are exceptional, and fresh. If you didn't like the menu, you could always order continental or oatmeal. You could sit around the table or... More

We had a pleasant four night stay at the Inn in February. The Inn is quite comfortable however I feel a little overrated. The general gardens and sitting areas are beautiful and having breakfast with other guests is very very enjoyable. Our room was reasonably clean however it was dusy around the edges and the shower rug did not feel... More

As locals on Oahu, when we travel to Maui as often as we do, we usually stay with family. On this three night visit for a family wedding and the returning of our fathers ashes to his birthplace, most of the homes were filled with other family members from farther distances, so we gave the Wailuku Inn a shot. WINNER!... More

Old Wailuku Inn is the perfect place for a week long stay - which we did. Loved getting up in the morning to glorious breakfasts - a great start for the day! The Inn is nicely kept - rooms are lovely. We could go anywhere on the island (except Hana) within the hour. The instructions for getting there and getting... More

My husband and I had a late flight into Maui and arrived at the Inn in the dark. The directions to the Inn and to our room was right on. The hosts make everything very simple, which is nice when you are tired from a long flight. We were quite delighted to see the beautiful surroundings in the morning and... More

The Old Wailuku Inn is a great B&B. Our room, which featured Hawaiian style furnishings, was clean and comfortable, with a private garden area. The owners were friendly and knowledgeable and provided a delicious breakfast of French toast and fresh local fruits. The Inn's central location is another major feature which must be considered if touring throughout Maui. This is... More

The Old Wailuku Inn is beautiful, comfortable, and welcoming. We went there with two other couples, and all were delighted. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a seating area in a private courtyard. The owners and staff are friendly. The breakfast was special and plentiful. You will find the highest quality with a warm welcome.

Amazing breakfasts (fresh fruit, plus extras - always left table well-fueled for the day ahead), charming rooms, welcoming common areas and pleasant hosts. Rooms generally clean, but corners, etc. a little neglected.
