We tented at this campgrounds, so I can't speak for the RV experience.... It was clean and the kids loved it. The sites are very close together. SOme sites, like ours, you have to pitch your tent in the open, but the table and fire ring are in a wooded area, so at least you have some privacy that way.... More

Nice service, nice sites and good location. This is not a fancy campground but service was good and the park was well maintained given the high volume and turnover around Bar Harbour - if you are looking for a place to rest your head and relax while exploring Mount Desert - this is a solid bet.
