This place was rated a one star, which is misleading. The bedsheets appeared to not have been changed, the bathroom needed a good scrubbing. Would not stay there again and do not recommend anyone staying there.

Stayed on a Sat night. Room was dirty and had bugs. The bathroom had blood on the wall! along with ants! I realize this is a low budget motel. But that is no excuse for a dirty room and bugs. I would have been better off sleeping in the car!

This is a fairly simple review to write. I think this place is all about expectations. The reviewers below are obviously disappointed, which leads me to believe that they weren't realistic about what to expect. Boston is an expensive city to stay in. Even if you don't want to stay at a Back Bay luxury hotel, anything within walking distance... More

We booked this hotel while enroute from NYC to Boston. What a mistake. Website is misleading, this place is a dump. Room was filthy. Dirt on sheets, pillowcases with hair on them, stuff on the wall in bathroom. Room obviously hadn't been cleaned and the sheets hadn't been changed in quite awhile. My kids couldn't sleep and we didn't even... More

Unfortunately I had already booked our room at the PCI when I read the earlier reviews and honestly thought about cancelling. Well I didn't and we went ahead, we were tired and drained after our flight from the UK and then battling Boston traffic in a rental car, with the recently read reviews still at the foremost of my mind.... I have trouble understanding the negative critiques of this motel. To be sure, it wouldn't classify as 5-star. But for the money, relative to other motels and hotels in the Boston area, it seemed a good value. Even though the front desk area is not Taj Mahal, I found the person at the check-in desk very helpful, providing me with... More

Nothing chic here! However, VERY fast, free wifi and basic accomodations for anyone simply needing a place to lay your head. I would highly recommend either bringing your own pillow or asking for extras.

We check in and we discover that... the non-smoking room was smelling cigarettes, the roof in the bedroom was falling apart, the bathroom was so dirty that I almost throw up (hair, red stain and much more), and the bed was everything but clean. We paid the cancellation rate and we go somewhere else!

When you arrive to check in, you face an enclosed room with a plastic shield and slot for talking, ala bank teller. For our reception clerk, English seemed to be a distant second language. You begin to wonder whether you are on the right side of the barrier. Security may be an issue at this place, with evidence of deferred... More

I'm a frequent backpacker, and I've been all over Europe and the USA, mostly staying in the cheapest places I can find. This takes the award for the second-worst place I have ever been in. And I've shared rooms with dozens of strangers before. We were forced to book it when trying to find somewhere to stay in Boston, because... More
