Very nice hotel for the price! Walking distance to union square, financial district. Room was big and clean. Would stay here again.

This hotel is a good value for San Francisco. Its on the edge of the San Francisco Center and a good location if you're a tourist and not too bad if you're there on business and working in the financial district. The room appeared newly done and clean. The bathroom was huge and included a bidet (must cater to the... More

I can't say very much because we didn't even get a chance to stay here. It was a cold winter day and both my toddler and baby were asleep when we tried to check in this hotel. I did an internet booking through the hotel website (which I thought was direct to their system), one month in advance with specific... More

Thank you so much for your feedback. As of April 9, 2012, my company has taken over managerment of the hotel. The fist thing we have done is given the place a deep cleaning. We started with the public spaces and now working on the rooms. We should have all new bedding (duvets, pillows, pillowcases) by the end of next... More

I was traveling to SF for business and was unable to acquire my usual hotel near by Union Square. I was able to get a few night stay at the Hotel Milano in SF. I can not give any great remarks about this hotel beside the fact that it is in a good prime location to all of your major... More

Just what we expected plus a little more. Cool interior design. Fair price and great location with easy access, by car or tram.

Firstly, location is excellent. A two minute walk to Powell rail station and the tram stop. And two more minutes to Union Square. The hotel itself - well having read some of the reviews on here, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Ok, no frills, but a clean and fairly spacious room. I wouldn't like to be there for a week,... This hotel was a terrible hotel choice as our last stop on our road trip of the CA north coast. The staff was not friendly upon check-in, nor were they helpful when addressing the issues we had with our room. Helping their customers seemed like a dreadful task. They don't have bell service, & only 1 cart for the entire hotel... More

This dated and worn hotel has only its location and price point as draws for visitors to San Francisco. My check-in and check-out were quick and painless however, and I cannot fault them on that. My room, though clean, was in need of some general maintenance. The wood slate blinds did not open or close, the TV was terribly old,... More

Ok, so let me lay the scene. It's 11pm, and my wife and I arrive with a tired and cranky baby. Somehow, it takes half an hour for us to check in and another 15 minutes before the valet shows up to take the car. The keys to the room don't work, so we have to go back down to... More

The location is great with easy access to all the sights but the hotel itself lacks anything that adds to your stay. Everything is OK but nothing is great. Charge for wifi and bar and food options attached to the hotel are appalling.
