Good and central to union square. Staff helpful. Quaint but pretty lift. Rooms are very small with an even smaller bathroom. No air conditioning and couldn't close my window at all. Breakfast is served on the corridor of pastries, coffee and fruit. Basic room difficult to see how it is for two people but good location.

Good things: Great staff - very helpful, very friendly. Great Breakfast, loved all the little pastries. Free glass of wine from 5 - 6:30. Right across the street from Avis rent a car. 10 minute walk to public transit (both the BART and the MUNI). Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Bad things: Very small bathroom.
