We travel a lot, and have had the fortune to stay at many fine hotels. We have stayed at some very expensive hotels in San Francisco. From now on, we will always stay here. The service, the accommodations, the location - wonderful! We were in room 37, a beautiful, spacious, quiet room with lots of little extras that you wouldn't... More

I come to San Francisco often, but usually am booked in one of the big chain hotels in Union Square. This time I got to pick my own accommodation. I loved this place. It's gorgeous, completely furnished with of-the-epoque antiques, has a fantastic roof deck and garden, nice toiletries and was impeccably clean. Breakfast was a wonderful spread with something... We were struck by the stunning Victorian appearance of the building when we booked the room . . and were delighted to find it was as pictured, both inside and out. This is a three story classic Victorian built in 1872 during the "guilded age" of fine contruction in several sections of San Francisco. The great fire that followed the... More

This place is charming and cozy. The breakfast is an amazing spread: muffins, pastries, fresh cut fruit like grapefruit, kiwi, mango. Great coffee and tea also. The people are so helpful and friendly, willing to help with anything. The beds are comfortable. The garden is gorgeous and the hot tub is relaxing. The rooms have mini fridges. The owner, Marty,... We recently stayed in the Mission District. We were greated by friendly and very helpful staff. Marty has a delghtful staff. It is easy to get around from Van Ness. This 1872 Victorian has all the charm one can imagine! The breakfast was very good and more then you could want. The fruit was so fresh and what a wonderful... More

Great staff, great location! Close to some wonderful restaurants which Marty and the staff will guide you to. Rooms are well maintained and the breakfast is superb. The Mission district is not on the usual sight seeing maps but has some beautiful buildings and fantastic murals.

We recently stayed for one night in this delightful B & B in San Francisco's Mission District. It is within walking distance of Bart, so convenient for travelers. The Inn is an 1872 Victorian mansion with beautifully period decorated rooms, a backyard garden with hot tub and fountain and a rooftop viewing area. The management was friendly and helpful. Though... More

This is a beautiful B&B with a knowledgeable staff. They are welcoming, polite, and attentive, without being intrusive. You can enjoy your privacy or meet with other guests in the drawing and dining rooms. Breakfast offers the usual fare (eggs, quiche, hot and cold cereals, fruit, breads and muffins, assorted beverages) along with an unexpected tray of cold cuts and... More

This is a really delightful place. Charming reception, beautiful rooms, if you like deep Victorian styling, with lace curtains, cushions and, various knicknacks. Where there isn't room for a bathroom, a footed bath in the room. Breakfast is great, with a wonderful quiche and a lovely array of fruits, eaten in the livingroom downstairs on a variety of perches. Our bedroom... More

I stayed here in November of 2011 and had a blast! My boyfriend surprised me with a trip to San Francisco and we stayed here. As soon as we arrived, Marty was so welcoming. He saw my boyfriend and I and said he'd never seen such love in a young couple and he upgraded us to the best room they... More
