The Tuscan Inn is located just 2 blocks off Fisherman's Wharf, so very near Pier 39, Alcatraz, and all the attractions, as well as the cable cars. Also close to a Safeway which is handy. The rooms are small, but comfy and clean. They offer a free wine reception every evening which is a nice perk. Would stay there again.

Great location, room very clean, nicely decorated. Stayed with daughter 1 night. Staff was exceptionally accomodating considering I became ill. Easily extended our check out time, even brought me chicken noodle soup without my asking. Jose and Anja are employees to be commended. Definitely would stay again. Fortunately, made our flight home and I am recovering.

We booked through Southwest Airlines & it was $1048 for 5 nights plus tax. After arriving it had jumped to almost $1500 & they didn't honor our southwest rewards card. We stayed 1 night since we were being charged regardless. The room was clean but not worth $270 a night.
