We stayed here for 2 nights recently, the hotel was in an excellent location. Just around the corner was a large Westfield shopping centre with Bloomingdales and all the big names. We look the Bart underground from SFO airport to Powell Street station. It costs $8.10 per person for one way. The hotel is just a 2 minute walk as... More

In town for work and pleasure. First stay at the Palomar, chosen because of location near the photo galleries on Geary street for my wife. Visited the 5th Floor lounge for drinks and hors d'oeuvres on two ocassions. Great cocktail and small plate selection. I typically choose to stay at Kimpton's when I travel. I enjoyed this property as I... More

We decided a have a two day trip to San Francisco city and decided to stay in the middle and close to all the happening area. This was an excellent choice and location. Very clean room and bathroom and you are close to all the shopping and museums.

From the moment I booked our reservation at Hotel Palomar, I felt like a welcomed guest. Rachel Wang, the guest service representative, contacted me by e-mail to acknowledge my room requests and to answer some questions about transportation. She was so engaging and knowledgeable I was quite enthusiastic about our stay. Our arrival at the hotel was made simple via... More

This hotel is centrally located and only a quick walk to the Convention Center. If you can afford a suite, they offer lots of room and huge bathrooms. Although the hotel is at a busy intersection the soundproofing is excellent (I was on the 9th floor and barely heard traffic noise). The staff front-desk staff are uniformly helpful and friendly;... We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of our holiday and could not have asked for anything more. From the welcome email prior to arrival through to check-out, the staff were friendly, helpful and professional. We were given a lovely room on the 5th floor which was quiet and well positioned. There was a coffee maker, animal print... More

We stayed here spring break this year for 4 nights during a trip to Seattle to look at the University of Washington for our daughter. We found it to be in a nice location in the business district just blocks away from shopping and lots of great restaurants, public transportation, and tourist spots. The hotel itself was undergoing some work... More

I was in SF on business and going to the Moscone Convention Center. This is very close and much nicer than the other giant chain hotels nearby. Easy to get to on the BART from the airport ($8.10 and 1 block walk from Powell station) Room adequate size, modern, clean, flat screen TV. Excellent wireless Internet that is free if... More

iuncomplicated I stayed her four nights. The staff are very friendly, and the restaurant excellent. Rooms are clean and a good size. I had a whirlpool bath which was nice. View - well it was 6th floor downtown so ok, but not a cityscape. The location is fantastic although shopping is dangerously easy. The hotel lacks the brashness of say... More

Stayed here rather recently on business and was quite pleased. The staff is quite personable and helpful, and the hotel is a charming boutique hotel in a great location. Westfield Center mall is right around the corner - Old Navy, Nordstrom, Ross, and Starbucks are within a two minute walk. Save a taxi fare to/from the airport - the Bart... More
