Wonderful location in heart of city, on edge of Chinatown, within a couple of blocks of North Beach and within a few blocks of the Embarcadaro & the Ferry Building. Good service, excellent rooms, though somewhat small, very well appointed. Prices in restaurant somewhat high (even for San Francisco).

Everything you want in a Hotel during a well needed vacation is what the Hilton delivers. The cleanliness, the helpfulness of the staff, the gym, etc etc. all was wonderful. We have not one complaint. Will stay again.

The location of the Hilton in the Financial Dist. trumphs things like being charged for wi-fi, paying for in room coffee, the room being a bit small or worst of all sliding door instead of a hinge door for he restroom,(whats up with that?) amazing what a difference a real closed door can do for privacy. Changed to this hotel at the last minute due to a good deal on Hotwire. The hotel is in a convenient location (especially if you are taking one of the Hop Off Hop on Tours, they stop right in front of it). I ended up arriving very late in the evening.
