Hotel was ok-overpriced. Service was nonexistent and in fact you need to be self serviced oriented especially w/front of hotel staff. Good location to food.

Aside from the price (everything is pretty high in this area) I really enjoyed my stay here. The view was better than I expected for a "partial view" and everything was top notch. Very comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff. I would stay here again.
The thing about this hotel is that its right in the financial district. Its relatively easy to get places on public transport - ferry or BART etc. You can walk to the Marina or down Market to shops and tourist areas. Its a bit less accessible by car or taxi. There are excellent restaurant choices including Hunan, Chinese, Greek, Thai...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights; the reasons we booked were :
1. it is in a quiet area
2. we enjoyed our stays at other Le Meridien hotels we stayed at in other countries
3. they generally have comfortbale beds
The room we had was a good size and so was the bathroom.
Unfortunately, the bathroom had...

I stayed here two nights on business and was very pleased. Nice rooms, easy to use business centre, good location and it is just around the corner from a Starbucks and a Peet's. There is a grocery store nearby if you want a yogurt or something light when you tire of eating in restaurants. There is lots of shopping nearby...

A lovely view of the Bay Bridge out the room window. Comfortable room and amenities. The wifi didn't work for us (we were willing to pay), but other than that, an easy solid night in downtown SF. Didn't leave me feeling like raving about it but not much to complain about either.
I had never stayed at this hotel before, but I was quite pleased with the location and the service. Check-in was a breeze. The room was nice and well appointed. The bed was comfortable. The TV was updated and the channel selection was good. The desk was laid out OK for working; however there were only 2 electrical outlets on...

The only "con" that I have is of no fault of the hotel; I stayed here for 2 weeks and the Financial District tends to be pretty well deserted on the weekend, so not too many places to go. However, the staff was very attentive and friendly and I would certainly return again (and again and again!)
My recent stay at Le Meridien was an excellent one. The location is fantastic, very close to the Embarcadero, and one must visit the Ferry Terminal. Close to the Ferry Terminal, local artisans offer various products, such as necklaces and portraits at reasonable costs. The hotel is located to numberous choices of restaurants at all budgetary options, and it is...

Overall an elegant hotel.
I first have to complement the staff.... my flight was delayed several hours and as a result i had to cancel one night of my stay, however they were friendly and had no problem changing my reservation.
Upon arrival i was met by a welcoming reception staff and was given a room on the 15th floor,...
