My wife and I get up to San Francisco a few times a year for some R&R. Generally we are Four Seasons junkies and stay there or the Grand Hyatt, but this time we got a deal at the Ritz and decided to stay there for four nights. We knew that the experience would be different - we expected that... More

Spent 3 nights at the Ritz in San Francisco. The room were lovely, surprised we did not have some of the bathroom ammenities upon arrival but were placed the next day. Front Desk were friendly and polite. The front door valets were the best.... Resturant service was fairly poor in both occassions. With the restaurant semi empty (only 5 tables... More

My family and I have spent a week in San Francisco and booked A ONE Bedroom suite for our last night in San Fran because we knew we would get a great nights sleep in preparation for our long flight home. When I booked the room I explained what we needed a suite with a door separating the bedroom. When... More

I just completed a four night stay at this superb hotel. I stayed on the Club level, which takes the entire club level concept to new heights. Wines and California champagne served from the afternoon on until 11 PM; quite a repast of all varieties at breakfast -- including meats and cheeses, croissants, muffins, bagels, English muffins, gorgeous whole strawberries,... This has got to be one of the most "interesting" stays I have ever had at the Ritz. And when I mean interesting, we had to change rooms because in the building directly across the street from us, there was a man in his apartment window doing inappropriate things while staring at us in our hotel room. We called the... More

The Ritz is in a great location - walking distance to Union Square and the financial district. Upon arrival the staff were excellent and they provided much better service than the Ritz Carlton locations in Singapore and Beijing (my most recent Ritz experiences). The rooms were quite comfortable and well appointed. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants, so... More

My husband and I were traveling on business and stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in connection with the conference. Though I certainly expected good service I must admit that I was extremely impressed with the polite and attentive manner in which we were greeted. We arrived by taxi from the airport and were quickly met by the bellmen and doormen who... More

This Ritz is very pleasant, in decoration and has good service. Room amenities are good, and what you would expect at a Ritz, good desk, good lighting, nice large bathroom with good storage and a calm but boring decor. Most of the rooms have no view given the type of building. The service is very friendly and very efficient and... More
