We just returned from a two night stay at this facility. Bayfield is a city of flowers, but the Winfield has remarkable gardens. Our room was fine- good beds and very clean. We had a sitting area out front with a view of Lake Superior. Not expensive by Bayfield standards and friendly folks.

I LOVE this place, even in the winter! The family that run it are attentive, yet out of your way. Never had a single question about the comfort or cleanliness of the rooms. Cheap in the winter, a deal in high season. Book early!

This location is so easy and the staff are very nice. My friends and I spent one night in a 2 bedroom condo for a ski event and it was perfect. The view of Lake Superior is gorgeous and the property is quiet even though we were less than a 2 minute drive to downtown Bayfield.

Winfield Inn made a reservation for me at Reiten Boatyard Condos in August, 2011. This is a very comfortable, beautiful and convienent property right on the Lake Superior city swimming beach and next to a fine Marina and boat launch. Renovation has added new life to this older motel. The rooms are neat and clean and have a refrig as well as WIFI. Our room did not have a microwave, but there was one close by in the office for all to use. Rooms have nice porches with two chairs and a table with a beautiful view of Lake Superior.... More

Winfield on the Hill in Bayfield is wonderful! Friendly service, rooms with views, clean with nice extras (fridge, coffee maker). The gardens are beautiful and the relaxing patio over looking lake superior is just the place to relax with coffee or a glass of wine! We will be back!

This place is a beautiful, relaxing, quiet place to stay. Going into Bayview to the shops and restaurants is a short 10 minute walk. Rooms are quite spacious & very clean.
