Our stay at Laurel Lodge was a relaxing getaway. Chris and Ed really made our stay amazing. The Lodge has great little touches like tea and treats on the sideboard throughout the day and evening, robes in the rooms, filtered water and glasses in the room, and lots of brochures and suggestions to help you find your kind of restaurants... What a lovely B&B. Beautiful craftsman home full of period furniture. Chris met us at the door and was an outstanding host. He recommended a couple of local places to eat and the one we tried was good. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding. This B&B is the perfect place to get away for a few days.... More

We really enjoyed our stay. We take a yearly trip with friends and chose Harpers Ferry this year. Chris & Ed are great hosts. Chris welcomed us with a tour of this charming lodge. It has a rich history, and he pointed out many of the "curios" throughout the grounds. They have beautifully restored the home. The breakfast was absolutely... More

Laurel Lodge was one of the best B&Bs we've ever stayed at. The craftsman style home is absolutely beautiful and full of surprises! Our room was large, quiet and clean. The bed was so comfortable, and our hosts were the most gracious! Chris shared the history of the home in wonderful detail, and gave us a mini-tour of the grounds.... More

My 11 year old son and I recently stayed here for spring break and the B&B was outstanding. The house is full of fun and interesting history. The location is within an easy walk from town which is great because parking in town is very hard to find. The views from the house are amazing. The owners are delightful. The... More

We had a great time at Laurel Lodge. Chris and Ed were a pleasure to meet, and the lodge is a really unique place that has to be seen to believe. With amazing views of the river on the back porch, the place was a fantastic spot to relax after our day of hiking the Maryland Heights trail. Breakfast was... More

Lovely arts and crafts lodge brimming with lots of its own "quirky" history, a quick hike into the historic district, fantastic view, soft-spoken, pleasant, caring host. What more could you want? How about clean as a whistle with a wonderful gourmet breakfast....one of the best breakfasts in 25 years of frequenting B and B's. Pride in ownnership is obvious. JMcC,... More

The house is beautiful and the rooms are clean and tastefully classic in style. The location is on top of the hill just a few blocks from town (an easy walk). Even though the house isn't far from the train station Chris still picked us up and dropped us off. This was greatly appreciated due to the cold weather. The... More

Second time I stayed here, and it was just as lovely as the first time. Great hosts, terrific breakfast. Rooms are so so clean and beautiful, and the location can't be beat! Thank you, Chris and Ed (and Ben) for another memorable stay.

A simply peaceful, warm, welcoming, and comfortable sojourn. The hospitality is professional and the setting adaptable, tailored to individual needs even when the house is full. There is a feeling of belonging, an atmosphere of serenity, and ample opportunities for chatting, reading or solitude. The breakfasts are extraordinary. We have and will continue to come again.
