We just returned from 5 days at the MCM Elegante - Beaumont. We were only planning on staying 4 nights, but the hotel is so enjoyable, be stayed an extra night. The room decor was pretty atrocious but the bed was comfortable and the service good. Breakfast buffet was not available (probably because the hotel was pretty empty), but we had a nice a la carte breakfast. It was perfect for the one night on our trip, but I wouldn't recommend it for a long stay.

Our room was in the back hall of the hotel on the second floor. We had a non-smoking room but there were smoking rooms also on the hall so traveling up and down the hall (we were at the far end from the elevator) was unpleasant due to the stale tobacco smell. We stayed there for one night based on all the great reviews and we stayed in the Cabana and it was NASTY!!..They say it was recently renovated how?
