Comfort by name and in reality. had a quiet night, and free buffet breakfast. not the best location for walking out to find somewhere to eat. might try to find something better if we ever visit gunnison again.

The hotel was a basic chain style place, but clean and the staff was friendly. Just a note of caution: the breakfast is very skimpy and the internet in the lobby is insanely slow!

This hotel is across the street from shopping, restaurants, and grocery stores. It's also within walking distance of downtown. The hotel was clean and I enjoyed the free breakfast, pool, hot tub, and WiFi. The only downside is that smoking rooms are across the hall from nonsmoking. This was a great stop on a 10-day road trip-we headed for Black Canyon of the Gunnison the next day - about 50 miles from this hotel. Had a 2-queen-bed room. We all enjoyed the indoor pool and the hot tub was wonderfully hot! Appears to have been recently carpeted very nicely.The check-in staff were great.
