My sister, mom and I just came back from having a wonderful time at the Spa. We did not stay at the hotel. Only went for a day at the spa as my sister and mom live in nearby. We have been to this spa for 6 plus yrs and always say that it is the best spa we have... More

I have not been to Grove Park Inn to stay for several years. With other high end properties in Asheville now, there are many options to choose from. I will not be going back to GPI. At check in I asked if my stay could be extended if I decided to stay longer and was told yes. Since the Memorial... More

My husband and I had fond memories of romantic getaways to Grove Park early in our marriage so decided to spend our 28th anniversary there. We were sadly disappointed. Our room smelled musty and was poorly lighted. The bedding was old and the decor in the room was grossly outdated. We were charged a "resort" fee for wi-fi, newspaper (ask... More

My mom and I recently spent 3 nights at GPI. We had a wonderful experience. The inn itself is beautiful and set above Asheville with wonderful views. We stayed in a standard mountain view room that was clean and comfortable- no major bells and whistles. What sets GPI apart is the amazing staff and the spa. I didn't encounter a... More

Grove Park Inn is a destination and an experience that is nothing less than... Superb. The experience begins when your driving through the Grove Park neighborhood to the Inn. Beautiful homes with landscapes that say... park! Then you arrive at the Inn and you are immediately struck by the architecture that says... this is something special. When you walk into... More

We stayed at the Grove Park for three days over the Memorial Weekend for a family wedding in Asheville. the buildings and grounds are beautiful and the worn look in the rooms can be overlooked due to the age - but the service offered is barely 4 star and far behind many other resorts. We have stayed at the Greenbriar,... More

I don't even know where to begin. Everything about this property is top notch, A #1! The structure itself, nestled in the rolling hills of the Blue Ridge and Great Smoky Mountains is beautiful, rustic and quite simply grand. We stayed on the Club floor which was a real treat. I would recommend spending the extra money for this option...especially... More

On a girls' weekend, two of us in our early 60s visited The Grove Park Inn in mid-May. This property has a great history and fabulous setting. We felt privileged to be there even if our room, with 2 doubles, was a little cramped and the bathroom not really luxe. The upcoming renovations undoubtedly will fix this. The grounds are... More

They say the Devil is in the Details. Well, there is no Devil at this grand hotel and spa! This place is perfect down to the last detail. Entry, Room, Dining is all top notch. A bit pricey but worth every cent. This is the place to stay for a special treat---and you deserve it.
