As advertised. Very chic. Modern decor. The restaurant on premises is fantastic. We like staying in hip hotels if they're outside of our rewards program and this hotel did not disappoint. Recommended.

I'll start with the good stuff: This hotel is in a perfect location. It's basically on the Freedom Trail and near several of Boston's best sites. I was lucky enough to stay at the Ames in Boston over the May 19th weekend. It is in an amazing area, minutes from many landmarks, restaurants and shops. The service was excellent, rooms spacious and they were very generous with their towels.
We had arrived pretty early in the morning and understandingly, our rooms were not ready. They stored...

Spent 3 nights at the Ames last weekend and was not disappointed. Let me preface my comments by saying- we did have a corner king room with 3 large windows all around, so that may have biased my views, vs. someone who had a smaller room. I am not sure how may windows the non- corner rooms have. Here are...

Although it is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of everything, I was so dissapointed on how noisy it was. On the 6th floor facing the street, one am hear all the cars, buses and people passing. The subway must pass below the hotel because every so often, the room shaked... The walls are also very thin. Not a...
