Stayed here for a getaway weekend with some friends and was very pleased with the choice. The staff really are very friendly--they have a 'can do' attitude for most anything you ask for. The location is unbeatable. It is right on the Freedom Trail across from the Granary (a historic graveyard) and within walking distance to everything. You can take... More

Hobby of mine takes me to pro MLB baseball stadiums around the US. Fenway Park was next on my list and I figured I would want to visit other sites in Boston. Girly and I stayed in downtown for 3 nights with the intention of walking or using the T subway to get around. We had arrived at 6 am... More

The location cannot be beat in Boston. We walked everywhere easily! Steps from Government center, right near the common, and only 5 minutes to the North End. Also, with a T stop right there, everything is easy to get to. We had an upgrade to a room with a view, which was great. You could see the entire common and... More

Our first stay at a Kimpton Hotel, and we were certainly satisfied. From the moment we got there, the staff was welcoming, friendly, and possitive. Their can-do attitude was so nice, and it really enhanced our stay. The valet staff, front desk staff, concierge, and bell hops were all superb. The decor is pretty nice and modern. The location is... More

From the moment we walked into the hotel, our pup was greeted with a bowl of water and another bowl of treats. The service here was excellent and very accommodating (especially to furry friends). We liked the fact that they would send a dog walker up to our room while we were out to dinner to walk our pup or... More

Great hotel for many reasons. Location - right in the heart of the city. So food/pubs/shops/history all around. The start of the Freedom Trail is on its door step. Metro/underground 2 mins walk away. Safe area. Staff - all very helpful and very friendly. They went out of their way to welcome me on my birthday (I did drop a... More

Had a friends weekend, we chose this hotel for a change of pace. Room 810 had two queen beds, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, edgy decor, very well-appointed. Only thing that could be improved was the view--across the large windows that actually opened was another building of about the same height; they could see us and we could see them.... More

The staff really have the art of hospitality down! This positive attitude is in tune with the hotel's wish for visitors to 'relax'. Excellent location near the park, walking distance to lots of great places, easy to get on transportation system (T) for other excursions. Fantastic home base for great time in Boston.

This hotel made for a wonderful weekend getaway! It is very centrally located. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. The food in the area is amazing! The staff are wonderful too! The room was very comfortable and the view was great. I will definitely be staying here again if I return to Boston!

This was a very nice boutique hotel...an easy walk to many of the tourist spots. The room was pretty small for the price. Maybe I am not used to downtown Boston pricing so it might be very competitive...just don't know. Service was excellent.
