Very clean Hotel close to Copley Square, the Prudential Center and Boylston. Rooms are small but the hotel is in close proximity to the T. Staff is very friendly and helpful and would certainly stay here again. If anyone is looking for a bargain priced hotel, without sacrificing cleanliness and location, this is the spot for you

Location was perfect for our stay. We saw On The Town at The Lyric Stage, located in the Hotel. Parked next door, took the T downtown. Walked across the street for dinner and breakfast. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms and value were good for the location.

Location is excellent in the heart of BackBay . My husband and I were delighted when we arrived and were given an upgrade to a king room. We walked to many great restaurants and sights. The staff was helpful and friendly in helping with directions etc. We will definitely stay at Hotel 140 again!

Superb location and cleanliness in the heart of Boston. Highly recommend as it is a great jumpoff for exploring the city. Lots of quality dining and sights to see right outside the hotel's front door. Rooms are petite in size, but were the perfect setting for our celebratory stay.

Hotel 140 offers good value for money. Location is excellent (near shops in the Prudential Center and walking distance to Boston Common park) with good access to Metro and trains (Boston Back Bay Station). Rooms are not too big but offer sufficient space and above all, they are very clean. Staff at the front desk was very friendly.

Hotel 140 was constructed as the first YWCA in the country; the building is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. There're still huge signs of YWCA outside the hotel. Stayed here April 8-12 2013 and everything was great. We booked through hotwire and were assigned a room with 1 full bed for 2 men. Stayed in a twin room which was quite large, very comfortable large bathroom, hot water taps a bit tricky to work out but you will get there. Great toiletries and towels. Floor cold in bathroom during winter so bring slippers. No breakfast to rate, cafe across road sells everything. Friendly helpful staff thanks guys
