Dympna and James--the innkeepers--are wonderful conversationalists and we thoroughly enjoyed chatting with them at breakfast. As others have already commented, the breakfasts were terrific. Room was clean and well appointed. High speed internet was perfect. Would highly recommend this B&B for the experience.

I stayed here in April 2013 with my boyfriend for his birthday in April. We stayed two nights in Salt Hill. James and Dympna were wonderful hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed breakfast both mornings. There was a huge spread of fresh baked scones, muffins and bread. Dympna made a delicious hot dish each morning too. Fresh squeezed OJ and fresh... More

What a wonderful relaxing way to start a very intense week in Boston. I stayed here for two nights and genuinely felt part of a family. The personal touch of an airport pickup by James made me feel like I was being met by a kindly uncle. He is an excellent conversationalist, a treasure of information, with a wonderful dry... More

Situated on a quiet side street in the historic South End, what makes this place special are the owners and hosts, Dympna and James. We found ourselves spending a long while lingering over breakfast, engaged in conversation about life and Boston. Speaking of breakfast, Dympna really outdid herself daily with wonderful meals. She makes a delicious home made granola which... More

My husband and I spent 4 nights here over the Boston Marathon weekend, when it can be difficult to find lodging. We have a daughter in college in Boston so we have spent quite a few weekends in the city, but this was the first time we stayed here and we will definitely be back. The location was superior for... Great B and B! Wonderful friendly and accommodating hosts in Dympna and James, outstanding food, help with any information about the area- restaurants, sites, etc. And rides to and from the airport to boot! Saint and Ann

We spent 4 nights at the Aisling at the end of March 2013 and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had seen the impressive reviews for the Aisling on Tripadvisor so when our relatives who stayed there last year also recommended it highly, we knew this would be the ideal place for us too. Dympna and... More

It's definitely one of my best hotel experiences so far. I stayed here for 3 nights. The room is cozy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was just unbelievable good, not only because the quality, but the hospitability attached. I would say these are the best breakfast I’ve ever had out of my home, just because the feeling of being REALLY... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in March 2013 on a site seeing visit to Boston. We stayed in the Murmod Sanctuary. The location is wonderful in the South end, an easy bus ride to Boston Common. The room is lovely an had everything we needed. Dymna and James are very nice, even picked us up from... More

We loved staying here so much more than being at a hotel! Great location - walk one block to 4 wonderful restaurants. Parking right in back of the home - if you don't know, parking is impossible in Boston! James greeted us and patiently laid out different itineraries for us. Wonderful breakfast on Sunday morning with a family traveling from... More
