The Gaslamp is well situated for see many of the sites in San Diego. It is within walking distance of the convention center if that is what brings you to San Diego, but best of all there are many excellent restaurants right outside your doors. Also, this location couldn't be any better if you were wanting to watch the Padres...

Family and I really enjoyed the hotel. The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and spacious, and the location was very convenient (right next to PETCO park and near plenty of restaurants, etc. in the Gaslamp disctict). Only minor complaint was that the only available parking was with the valet.
I stay at many marriotts for business travel and this marriott was one of the best I've stayed at. It was in a great location, it was clean, the service was excellent and for the price, it was a no brainer to stay there. I will gladly stay at this hotel again in the future and I recommend this hotel...
