We particularly loved the neighborhood, ease of getting around and wonderful restaurants nearby. Our hostess, Ann, was gracious and provided some well-appreciated restaurant suggestions. Our room was small but adequate for two people, very clean, with lots of character befitting a craftsman style bungalow. We'd definitely return.

The place is outstanding. Ann makes whatever is possible as the guest can feel like home. Is an unsual experience to be hosted like you're really a guess in a friend's house. The accomodations are good, and the breakfast, awesome. Is a place to feel home, even away from home.

OMG found Hillcrest Bed and Breakfast on line, but after talking with Ann knew we wanted to stay there. It was our first time in San Diego and she made us feel so welcome. the place is beautiful and warm and inviting, my only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. we had a wonderful time . Our time in San Diego was short but Ann lead us in the right direction when it came to dinning out. She also suggested a trolley tour that we took. That was well worth our time. We plan to come back and Stay with Ann again.

We returned to Hillcrest House B&B once again. Ann is always so warm and friendly and does such a great job making you feel comfortable and at home.
