nice hotel. staff was very friendly. breakfast was good. actually good location off 6th ave. (5 min walk from the bars and pubs) room was clean. bathroom was a little small but really cant do anything about it. loved the touchscreen television in the lobby with the map and weather on it.

This is an older property that has been beautifully updated. It's in a great location and the staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There are 2 really charming restaurants, the Sole Luna Cafe and the Indigo Cafe, with some great food located just steps from the hotel.

For a 3 star hotel it deserves top praise. I stay at Holiday Inns and Holiday Inns Express for most of my out-of-town travel and this spot is at the bottom of the list. The room smelled weird and the A/C was broken. The breakfast was unbelievably bad, even for Free Continental Breakfast items. Next time I am in SD, I might have to venture away from Holiday Inn.
