DONT book this hotel IF you want internetaccess during your stay. They say its "high speed wifi" which is a complete lie, its almost impossible to get any connection at all. They say its breakfast til 9.30 am but one day we were there 9.10 and there was nothing left, and the guy behind the desk didnt mind bringing more... More

I stayed with my friend for 4 days. I can hardly point out anything really good. Free internet is true but you can barely get connected. We actually used the free wifi from nearby residence Inn. This is really funny. Breakfast is very simple and no cafeteria. Anyway, I wont visit again.

I stay with my family for a week and the rooms were always clean, everyone was helpful specially john in the lobby telling us great place to visit and shop, also a good breakfast, the rooms are old but the location of the hotel is great near little italy and the harbor, also great rates.

The rooms are old but clean. The biggest drawback of the location is the proximity to the train tracks and airport. You definitely want to keep your windows closed. Parking is free, and the Maritime Museum is a short walk away. You definitely need a car to get around San Diego, though, so it's good that there's free parking. Some... More

Thank you very much for your comments and feedback. We have doubled paned windows to try and prevent any inconvenience to our guests and there familys on account to the trains. Unfortuantley they are required to blast there horns as they enter downtown due to the amount of pedestrian traffic. All the hotels on pacific highway have to deal with... More

Me and a group of friends stayed almost a week for a convention in San Diego. there were always clean towels, everyone was always helpful, and they always had a good breakfast. The part I appreciate most was the last day we had to check out but we still had business at the ACS Convention Center so they held our... More

I stayed just one night in San Diego with my wife but it was a very good stay and they gave us a large and comfortable room. The only downside was the noise from the nearby rail. But it was not a problem for us.

When my small band of value-minded travelers go to conventions I'm put in charge of finding the hotel. While I'm usually wary of non-branded hotels I took a chance on the Pacific Inn. In general, we were pleased with the value for our money. Check in was quick and painless and I was able to get my room even though... More

I am usually on the go when I vacation. So I was just looking for a decent, affordable place to crash in a good location. This place surpassed the expectations I had based on reviews I read before booking. John was working the desk for most of my stay, and was extremely friendly and helpful. There is some noise from... We only stayed for one night, preparing for the blues cruise on Sunday, but our impression is very positive for this small hotel/inn.
