Don't expect anything fantastic. NYC is expensive, we all know that, but paying $200 for a bad-smelling closet they call a room is a bit excessive. Yes, room was incredible small and it had a serious humidity problem, which was most likely the cause of the bad smell. Carpet was filthy. Bathroom was OK. Towels were children size! Breakfast is... I recently visited New York and stayed at the MAVE hotel, location was very convenient and the staff was friendly. The front desk is very small as well as the room but well organized, it is ok if you are all day offsite for business. I would not recommended it to families, Hope this helps to other travelers. I was graduating this past May from college and my Dad booked the MAve after searching for affordable, handicapped accessible rooms by where my ceremony would be. I want to preface by saying that this review has two sides to it. So I'll start with version 1: As a handicapped accessible hotel, this hotel is about a 3. It's tiny,... More

I made this reservation 2 day's before arrival. As a Stash member I was expecting the type of room & floor request to be honored. It was not! I requested an upper floor King, and received a 2nd floor double? The staff was kind, but a night without sleep with a noisy Aircon, very bad bed, & overall substandard hotel... More

I stayed at The Mave a couple of weeks ago and loved it. The room we had was spacious for New York City and very clean. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Wonderful customer service. Great location too! I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

Stayed here for three nights. Great location easy walk to Times square/Top of the Rock/Empire State buildings and most other places if not subway close by. Nice bar next door cheap beer/ale compared to other bars where they charge a fortune. Room clean and very modern, bed so comfortable though noise outside from traffic can be annoying but bring earplugs... More

Our recent stay at The Mave was perfect, dare I say, exceptional. Upon arrival, we were guided to several excellent restaurants nearby - Felicia was very friendly. We felt like welcomed guests. Dined at The Duo Lounge (three doors down) and atmosphere was contemporary and inviiting, food terrific. Next day, Pablo was very helpful in navigating the city with recommendations... More

The best customer service I have ever had in any hotel. From the beginning of booking the room to check the employees make sure that if you need anything or have any questions they are there to help you. The location and the price were excellent, and the room had the most comfortable bed which is perfect after a long... More

Finding a reasonably priced hotel in a prime neighborhood can be daunting. We took a chance on MAve and were very happy with the results. The location is prime, the value for the price is excellent and everything led to a wonderful NYC weekend. Yes, the cheaper rooms are small, but spacious enough with updated bathrooms. Staff was friendly and... More
