This is definitely a cool hotel. I stayed in a deluxe room which was big enough (for NYC). The design is very elegant and the room I had had views over midtown and east river - "shockingly" good. Negatives? The AirCon is surprisingly loud. The cafe/restaurant downstairs is very, very good. It has a glass ceiling and the layout is... More

Stayed in the Mondrian for 6 nights for business and the hotel is stunning with real wow factor. The bed was fantastic and loved the organic tolietries. However the service was a bit sloppy, especially in the restaurant where I had to wait for half an hour for a table for breakfast one morning and then got charged for two... More

I stayed at this hotel for one night on May 30 on business. It was my second time staying there but never again. My main issues were: 1. Assigned room was filthy and was not made up - there were used towels on the bed, a dirty bathroom and an unmade bed. Not really what one needs when checking in... More

I've never been in a hotel like this before lobby to check in is on 2nd floor so weird the lobby area walking in on the ground floor was so dark I had a hard time seeing. Great decor and room was nice and clean. Requested a King room but didn't have so received a Queen room. The concierge service... More

Ok, this hotel is the epitome of "it is what it is." In Soho, all about the scene, the funky decor, etc etc etc. Rooms were tiny...even after we were told we were "upgraded." But they were very clean, staff was great, location was perfect for what we needed, and overall it was a fine place to stay. I got... More

The best thing of this hotel is its location in Soho. Each room has floor to ceiling windows. The rooms are clean and the restroom was relatively spacious. The design is pretty tacky, but I prefer that to Sheraton's or Hilton's "corporate" design without any personality. The rooms are tiny, but that seems to be the norm in the city.... More

The ambiance of this hotel was great. The periwinkle shade of blue that is the dominant decor palette actually helped me to reduce my blood pressure. The lighting throughout really did wonders for my anxiety and i found myself ,ore relaxed than I have been in years. My room was tiny. (Had to do my yoga in the gym as... More

We stayed here on a Saturday night in May. What I loved most about the hotel is how bright and airy it is. So many "hip" hotels are so dark inside - at a W recently I couldn't even find the elevator button. This hotel is decorated in white and light blue. The front entrance with ivy and lights is... More

I stayed there for 5 nights for a meeting. Initially I was impressed by the avant-garde design and the concierge was friendly when we arrived. However I never realised that that was the last time I saw them in my stay. First the room. It is very poorly designed - one can't even find table space on the odd sized... More
