My family came to NYC from TX for our vacation and we stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is located in Flushing Chinatown section. The streets to the hotel were dirty and smelly but my impression of the hotel was nice clean and quiet. It was on the flight path to LaGuardia airport but you can't hear... More

I agree with the other positive reviews overall--this is hotel is in a great location, easy access to subway, right in the centre of an interesting and safe neighbourhood, the rooms are clean and new. However, its a fairly small operation and there was only one person at the front desk when I arrived, so even with a small lineup... More

My boyfriend and I came to NY during EDC and chose this hotel. We asked for an earlier check in so that we could go to EDC right away, but they didn't have any rooms available which is understandable because their check in time was 3pm. However, they accommodated us by holding our bags until we checked in later that... More

Right in the heart of china town (flushing style). The rooms are immaculate and well appointed... extremely high quality throughout. The staff are extremely helpful in spite of my lack of mandarin. The hotel would benefit from converting one of its rooms into a fitness center - having a weight scale in the bathroom and nowhere to do anything about... More

After reading the reviews I was pretty confident this hotel would be good and I am please dto say it lived up to my expectations. The hotel is modern, both inside and out. The decor in the lobby and halls are a high quality, as it seems a premium finish was the objective. The building is easy to locate and... More

I stayed at the Asiatic with 2 coworkers in May 2013. First, it is incredibly clean and tidy from top to bottom and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great simply because of the choice of fresh fruit. As far as food goes, well, this is a destination hotel for good food because of the neighborhood anyway and... More

The room that we stayed in was small and we had a total of four people, they only gave us two towels. We put a do not disturb up on the door while we were out and we came back with our stuff all moved around!? Only one small Mirror in the room and not a lot of closet space,... More

We stayed here for two nights and had an excellent experience. We had a junior suite, and the room was bright and very clean. The morning breakfast is like a typical hotel free breakfast, with bagels, cereal, fruit, coffee, and the added addition of rice and oriental vegetables. It was very good. The staff is professional and helpful. The fact... More

Fresh/clean rooms. 2 blocks to the end of the "L" line - with 25 minute express rides into Midtown. Free internet and basic breakfast. And reasonably priced - specially when the mediocre hotels in Midtown, with moldy rooms and tattered upholstery charge 2x as much! ** Bonus: Plethora of ethnic restaurants and “French” bakeries. great Vietnamese, Taiwanese, Sichuan, Seafood, Thai,...
