Affinia 50 is a great hotel. Location: easy to go everywhere walking, by bus or subway. Area is busy during the day but with few tourists. Lots of shops, cafes, delis, markets and restaurantes within walking distance. Felt very safe. The hotel: not modern, but not dated either. Everthing works just fine and is well maintained. Was looking for a large room for 3 with 2 queen beds. Hard to find in NYC but found this to be perfect. Great location near 50th and Lexington. Friendly, accommodating staff. Only down side was the very small bathroom. Would definitely stay there again.

Affinia 50 is a cute, small, friendly "boutique" hotel. The room was quite spacious by New York standards,with a desk area, cupboards, armchair and a FABULOUS kingsize bed with a wonderful mattress and an amazing choice of pillows.
