This hotel was pretty good. The rooms were small (as to be expected in Manhattan) but clean. The elevators were an inconvenience as there are only 2 and they are very slow when the hotel is full of people. It's a good location, right next to Penn Station and close to the subway. It's definitely not the best hotel where... More

Clean, comfortable, affordable and convenient! This Holiday Inn is a few blocks from Penn Station so it's ideal if you're coming to NYC on the train. The room was small but who needs a big room when you're spending most of the day exploring the city?! The staff was helpful. Breakfast is decent and included in the price of the... More

I am a big fan of IHG hotels. What I like most about them is that with their Express brand, you always know what to expect. This location was no different. The breakfast was the shining star and there was not an additional fee for a King-Sized bed - which is, at least from my experience - common in NYC.... More

Tiny $300 room. NYC prices always shock me. Front desk staff were friendly and attentive. I parked my car for two days at $40 per. No in or out. When I picked up my car the attendant practically ran into the hotel and threw my keys on the counter and hurried away. I was left holding a tip in my... More

I quite enjoyed my stay here with my hubby. We did see the rooms in the basement as the previous poster stated, but that is to be expected when booking third party. We had a 4th floor room with a view of the empire state building (not great, but still could see). I thought it was clean, but small, to... More

Hotel is a couple of block away from Madison Square Garden and Penn Station and a few blocks from Times Square. Clean room, good price, helpful staff. Rate includes breakfast, but just so you know, breakfast area is always packed and is kinda difficult to get a table. Me, I'd rather just grab what I want and eat it in... More

I booked this hotel on Hotwire as a 'secret hotel'. By doing some 'detective work' on the Hotwire site I was pretty certain I was booking this hotel. Sure enough it come up and I saved approximately £100 over the named hotel rates. Stayed here with my wife for 4 nights. Hotel is well located just a few blocks from... More

I booked a room in this hotel through Hotwire for a one-night stay in Manhattan on the way home from a conference in New Jersey. Originally I booked it for one person, but then discovered a friend would be in the city at the same time and we decided to share the place. I called a month in advance of... More

This hotel was convenient to Madison Square Gardens/Penn Station as well as the shopping district. The subway system is awesome; get a 7 day pass for approx. $29. well worth it. The continental breakfast had a great selection, although very busy, we never had a problem getting a table to sit at. Front desk staff were very friendly and the... More
