We spent a quick trip in SoHo for a couple of days at 60 Thompson on our way to Rome. It was a great place to stay, fairly quiet, yet close enough to many of the shops and restaurants that make SoHo great. We bumped into Marissa tomei in the lobby and the host of Property Virgins from the Home... More

I stayed at 60 in early May and the ONLY good thing I can say is the bathroom was nice. When I checked in on a Monday, I was told that the lobby level restaurant was closed and the rooftop bar was also closed. Not a big deal as there are so many great places in SOHO. However, the room... More

I think that the label 'Boutique' is really another word for less than what you would expect for the money you're charged. And it is unfortunate. The rooms are very small, the service is a bit slack, and there was no heat as they are on a single pipe system which is common in NYC but not ok when you... More

I arrived at the hotel after traveling 24 hours , was exhausted and jet lagged . The room that I had requested was not ready and the management upgraded me to the Thompson suite for the same charge as the room I had booked ! I was amazed considering it was the first time I had stayed there .....The location... More

This was our second stay at 60 Thompson and having had a chance to stay at other hotels in NYC! It became apparent that this hotel really does need to up its game - service, facilities and amenities...especially at the rates they are charging. A basic for any hotel like this is to ensure its guests get a great nights... More

We arrived at 60 Thompson late at night exhausted from a 15hr flight from Hong Kong (memo to self: don't do HK to NYC again) but were still greeted by friendly smiling staff, we woke the next day and began our NYC adventure, we were advised by the breakfast staff to buy a weekly Metro ticket (29USD) which allowed us... I stayed in a mini suite. Beautiful room. Amazing service. Location is great you can walk everywhere, lots of good local spots around. Plus the food was really good :)

The location in SOHO is great. The management were good, the bell captains good, waiters good and the concierge were great. The food ordered on room service was very good. The chicken grilled sandwich and meat burger in particular were really great. This designer hotel is starting to look tired. The furniture is starting to fall apart, the bed base... More

I usually stay at the Mercer hotel in Soho, but thought I would try something new. I really tried to love 60 Thompson, but it had no charm whatsoever. It was missing the small things like a doorman. I always had to find someone to get me a taxi etc. Even low end hotels have someone to do this. The... More

I was in NY for 3 nights for business and some fun, and fortunately we chose 60 Thompson as our hotel. First, the location is great!! Right in the middle of Soho, but on a relatively quiet street makes this hotel ideal. It is within a half mile of amazing coffee, La Colombe, great restaurants and bars and enough shopping... More
