Quiet hotel with larger rooms and bathrooms for NY standards! Free internet at least in the lobby computer , would have made this an outstanding discovery. Checked out very early and receptionist went out to locate me a taxi, found this an unusual gesture.

Decent price obtained on Priceline, however agree with others, not so Jolly. 2 am testing alarms...called the front desk, worring as I was with a child on a higher floor. Stayed here April 2013. Good location in NYC close to lots of main sightseeing attractions. Room was basic but served its purpose. We only used it as somewhere to sleep so can't comment on bar / restaurants etc. there was a lovely diner across the road on Madison Avenue which was lovely!!
