My friends and I stayed here over a recent weekend to celebrate a friend's bachelor party. The rooms are a little on the small size, but were pretty comparable to other Manhattan hotels that I've stayed in. Everything in our rooms were just fine - beds were comfortable, showers and toilet worked and the floor was clean. The location of... More

Starwood is not my normal chain, but its what worked out for this trip. My expectations were not high but they were clearly exceeded. The room was refreshed and quite nice in a mildly mass production, what you would expect in a very large hotel, way. Maybe a bit larger than New York average. Good bedding, limited street noise, but... More

Long wait at the elevators (30+ minutes!), someone getting stuck in the elevator (!), being asked to come down from my room to request a late check out, and charging $3.25 for the hotel to hold your baggage. All very un-hospitable behavior. And, while the property manager was apologetic, the staff wasn't very nice. And, I paid $300 for that... More

Stayed at the Sheraton for a family weekend visit to New York. It was a very pleasant experience. The room was very nice, good size. No issues at all with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect. Very close to Times Square, but not in the crowded middle of it. I recommend it.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights. Unfortunately we had a noisy neighbor the first night but the front desk was quick to send security and quieten down the neighbors. The room was clean and was located in a great spot for going uptown and downtown. Frank on the ticket and tour desk was so rude and less than... More

I stayed at this hotel 4-5 times, but my review is from a few weeks ago. I was in town for the tribeca film festival and NFL draft so I stayed here. The hotel is a block from the Radio City so it was perfect for us. I'm a SPG platinum member (I know I say it in every review,... More

It's so big and ugly, and it's bustling with tourists. But the staff is great, the rooms clean, quiet, and nice (if small and designed questionably), and the club lounge useful. It's a decent place to call home in the city once in a while.

I attended a conference here and a few days prior to arrival they wanted $570 per night. That offended my sensibilities since crowne plaza was $330 so I waited until the evening of arrival. I checked again on hotels.com that evening and price dropped to $360. So I booked it while in the lobby and saved $210. Hotel is nothing... More

After a long flight which arrived early in the morning we had to wait about 7 hours before being able to check in because a room was not available. There is a secure area where baggage can be left but we could not sign any purchases to our account because we had not been allocated a room. After this minor... More
