We stayed for 8 nights from May 27. The hotel is right in the middle of Korea town and there a lots of Korean restaurants and other styles of restaurants very close. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is a rooftop bar which has great views of the Empire State Building. There is a subway station half a block... More

The front of the hotel is a beautiful Beaux-arts style ornate brick and limestone façade with a rusticated stone base. Originally built as an apartment hotel, the Aberdeen Hotel (1902-04), it is now a designated city landmark in the Koreatown/Herald Square area. In 1912, the hotel’s suites were subdivided. That was a shame because this is perhaps the smallest hotel... More

We booked our room about a month and a half ago. Called several times (a week before arrival to inform them of my arrival time and right before I arrived in the airport) to confirm it all. Both times I was told that everything was ok. When we arrived, they came up with the same excuse I read in another... More

Would I pay this much in Michigan properties for a small room- no way ! But, in New York City this was the cheapest centrally located property - at over $200 ! It is very clean, close to Penn Station (we came in on Amtrak ) and a short walk to Subway and Times Square. We were on the 14th floor-... More

We spent two nights here and enjoyed a large room with 2 queen beds for a great NY price. Super location for visiting Manhattan and all the sights. Room was fairly large (for an older hotel building), clean and comfortable. They have a great roof top bar with an Empire State Building view to enjoy. The hotel staff was extremely... More

I've stayed at La Quinta during my last trip to NY in March. The hotel is very central, close to subway stations and LIRR (Penn Station is just 5 minutes walking distance away!). It's near the empire state building, Macy's and very close to 5th avenue. There are lots of places for you to eat near by and if you... More

This hotel is a good location, was clean, and reasonably priced for other places we searched. From Newark airport we took a quick NJ Transit ride (S12.50) to Penn Station and walked a couple blocks to the hotel. If you want a place to drop your bags and explore the city, this will do fine. If you like attention from... More

This hotel was outstanding, for the price. We thought the rooms were nice, and clean. Small, but for NYC, it seems that is pretty common. The location was perfect. The hotel was located on the same street as the Korea-Village, so very cultural! The hotel is about 3 blocks from Penn Station - so extremely convenient, getting from EWR airport... More

We recently stayed here during a short stay in NYC. The location was great and the staff was friendly. The price was amazing. It's was located near a subway stop and a short distance from Penn Station and the Garden. We would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time I've stayed here and it is a nice, not so expensive place to stay. Rooms are clean and adequate. You even get free breakfast. My only complaint is that they are understaffed and the person who stores the luggage is often not available- I had to wait 20 minutes to check my bag one time... More
