Spent 3 nights at the mammoth mountain inn and it was cheap but not very nice. The food in the restaurant was not great either. I would rather stay in town in better accomodations and closer to better restaurants.

We aboslutely love this place....we stay here every time we come up to Mammoth for its proximity to the mountain (ski in/ski out), amenities (i.e. great bar with a view of the mountain), very friendly staff, and cost as compared to other places on the mountain.
