I was quite pleased with my two night stay. The hotel is quite close to the convention center and a short walk from tourist sites such as the Liberty Bell and Constitution Hall. The front desk staff were quite helpful when I had to change my reservation and worked to get me the best rate. Valet parking was easy, and... More

This hotel has a great location, minutes from Walnut Street, Reading Terminal Market, Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, the national Constitution Center, and the US Mint, among other things. But the location is is not the only nice thing about the hotel. I was there under a corporate plan, and I ended up on a "premium" floor with access to a... More

The hotel room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the view was astounding. The staff were always around helping us to make this hotel the best one that we've been to so far! My family and I were very excited about coming to this fine hotel, we were always happy day and night. While we were there we... More

We recently stayed here for my husband's Bus School reunion, which meant it was one of the busiest weekends in Philly. The hotel told me they were 80% full with 400 checkins on the Friday afternoon - so it could have been chaos. However all was run very smoothly and we were pleasantly surprised by the friendliness of all the... More

Desk service was pleasant and efficient. The room was clean and the beds and bathroom were decent. I stayed in a club level room. The view from that upper floor was very nice and it was quiet even with a wedding party on the floor. The complimentary breakfast with the club room was good and the service for it was... More

Decent hotel, but they really need to renovate the hallways. Feels like an (old) office building. The elevators are confusing and a bit scary - they seem quite old. I was recently there for my grad school reunion and friends told me that my hotel room was the best out of the others in the surrounding area. So that made... More

I was actually expecting more from Loews. The hotel seems very old and outdated and like it could use a good renovation. Some areas seemed kind of dark and dingy, I guess you could say. The room itself was pretty good, the beds were comfy and I loved that there was a Keurig in the room and a mini fridge.... More

This was our 41st hotel stay in almost four months travel across the USA as vacationers. We stayed three nights in a deluxe room (hotel speak for standard), which included two double beds. What’s good: The hotel is in a great location – fairly central in the city area. The room was large and comfortable. Mini fridge in room (no... More

The Loews hotel is in a good location. The people who work there are incredibly helpful and friendly. Our room was clean and a nice size. Was it worth $250 a night (including tax)? I don't think so. Also, the doors slamming drove me crazy! They need to find a way for the doors to shut quietly. We were in... More

I had high expectations for this hotel -- it's in a old bank building that had supposedly been restored to its art deco glory. While the lobby and common spaces are sleek, the rooms are generic and dated with token art deco touches, and they're starting to show their age. For instance, I can't remember the last time I stayed... More
