We had an awesome time at this quaint hotel. It is definitely a hidden gem. It reminded me of our stays in Europe. The room was very cozy and intimate. The hotel has an extensive wine bar. It is also conveniently located to the bus and train line, as well as the expressway. We were around the corner from many... More

Stayed 5 nights, location wa great, right next to subway, lots of places to eat, not much shopping, but very historical. My room had the smallest tv I have ever seen in hotel. I think I had such tv in 1980. Clean room, breakfast was simple and good. I had tough ime because of the traffic noise right next to... More

I stayed two nights at Penn's View. The hotel is located in the historic area just beside a bus station. Overall, it was a fine hotel and easy to walk to multiple restaurants and attractions such as Liberty Bell, etc. I was there to attend a conference so the historic charm was lost on me. As a business traveler, I... More

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are charming and unique. We stayed in room 500, with a gas fireplace, huge whirlpool tub with shower, and very comfy queen sized bed. It has a bed and breakfast feel. They serve a free and tasty breakfast every morning - fruit, yogurt, cereal, breads, and make-your-own waffles and hard-boiled eggs.... More

My partner and I recently stayed at the Penn's View because of its many favorable Tripadvisor reviews. So there is little reason to cover all of the ground others have done already. We were very pleased with our stay in this small, quaint hotel. The staff were gracious and helpful, just as described. Nor did the on-site Panorama restaurant disappoint:... More

There is no such thing as a cheap hotel in Philly, but I got the room on internet at a good rate so can't really complain, I was only in for two nights, a little compact for a longer stay, ( my mate had a bigger room but still no view), but comforable enough. staff very nice too. Wine bar... More

Stayed here for a wedding weekend. Cute place! The continental breakfast, was so-so, but the location was great. Right on Market street and within walking distance of a lot of sights. Easy to get a cab if need be.

We had a most enjoyable few days at this very attractive hotel. Owner and staff were friendly and attentive. Location was perfect as we were able to walk to the city's historic attractions. With many fine restaurants in the immediate vicinity we only had one dinner in the hotel's Ristorante Panorama, and that was excellent. By the way this hotel/restaurant... More

This is near enough the train terminal to be convenient but far enough to feel you have really gone on vacation. The neighborhood is great with lots of walking, eating, and drinking places nearby and you are right on the water. The rooms are lovely and you can have champagne delivered to your jacuzzi bath. Our front desk manager Antonio... More

We've stayed here several times and always had a good experience. Great location, walking distance to everything. Good restaurants in the neighborhood but what we love about this hotel is that, thanks to the quality on-site restaurant, you can have a wonderful romantic dinner, complete with wine flights, delivered to your room. We had a lovely room in the front... More
